"I decided to feature work from photographers in the Toronto area. I feel as though, despite there being a lot of creative people in Toronto, there is a large disconnect between this city and other places with thriving arts scenes. A lot people here just don't seem to 'get it' and it makes it a much tougher place to be for the people that do. I don't mean to say that these people represent what is going on here; they're just a few people who are all doing great things and moving in a good direction."
